No. InkScan is a general-purpose handwriting OCR tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or verify prescriptions. Always confirm medications with your pharmacist.
What about medical abbreviations?
InkScan transcribes the handwriting as-is. It may recognize common medical abbreviations but does not interpret or expand them.
Can I use this for patient records?
InkScan processes images in memory and does not store your documents after processing. However, you are responsible for handling patient data in compliance with applicable regulations.
